Delete your account

How to delete your OpenTrain AI account from the Account privacy page.

You can delete your OpenTrain AI account from the Account privacy page. OpenTrain AI signs you out immediately. Deletion begins after about one hour, and final cleanup continues afterward.

Before you delete your account

Account deletion is permanent. If any of the situations below apply to you, contact OpenTrain AI support before continuing — these cases need a person to look at them:

  • You have a pending payout, an unsettled invoice, a refund, or a billing question.
  • You are part of an active job, contract, offer, or open application that is not yet resolved.

To reach support, message OpenTrain AI from the chat widget on opentrain.ai or app.opentrain.ai before continuing.

If you cannot sign in to your account, you can still delete it yourself. See If you can’t sign in.

Delete your account

Section titled “Delete your account”

Open the Account privacy page

Sign in at app.opentrain.ai, then open Account privacy. This page works even if you have not finished setting up your profile.

Choose Delete account

In the Delete account section of the page, click Delete account.

Confirm by typing DELETE

Type DELETE in the confirmation field, exactly as shown, and submit the form.

You are signed out

OpenTrain AI signs you out immediately and shows a confirmation that your account deletion is scheduled.

What happens after you confirm

  • Right away: you are signed out, your account is closed, and your profile is no longer visible on the platform.
  • About one hour later: deletion begins. Final cleanup continues afterward.

You can close the browser tab once the in-product confirmation appears. The cleanup runs on its own.

If you can’t sign in

If you can’t sign in to your account, you can request a one-time deletion link by email instead.

  1. Go to app.opentrain.ai/account-deletion.
  2. Enter the email address your OpenTrain account uses, complete the check that confirms you’re a person, and click Email me a deletion link.
  3. The page shows Check your email. It shows this for every address you enter. If an OpenTrain account uses that address, we email it a one-time deletion link. The link works once and expires after 24 hours.
  4. Open the link in that email and click Delete my account to confirm the deletion.

Contact OpenTrain AI support from the chat widget on opentrain.ai, or email support@opentrain.ai, if:

  • you no longer have access to that email address,
  • the email says your account can’t be deleted online right now, or
  • no email arrives. Check your spam folder first. Sending the form again many times does not send more emails.
