AI Translation and Evaluation Expert (Spanish)

You will review AI-generated Spanish and English responses and judge whether they are accurate, clear, well reasoned, and faithful to the prompt. You will also create language content and model solutions when needed to support AI learning.

The role combines translation review, Spanish localization, fact-checking, and AI response evaluation. You will use editorial judgment to identify errors and keep terminology, tone, and cultural nuance consistent.

• Review Spanish and English AI outputs for accuracy, clarity, and reasoning quality.
• Create language content and model solutions when needed.
• Fact-check references, names, dates, units, and other claims.
• Identify methodology, conceptual, and prompt-adherence errors.
• Apply Spanish localization, MQM, and LQA judgment to terminology, style, and cultural nuance.
• Compare multiple AI responses and rate their correctness and overall quality.

What it pays and takes

This is part-time, fully remote contractor work for someone with professional translation or localization experience. The role is open to candidates in Mexico, Spain, and the United States.

• Pay: $25 to $35 per hour.
• Time: 20 or more hours per week.
• Languages: Fluent Spanish with strong Spain locale knowledge and C1 English for reading, writing, and evaluation.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, Localization, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: At least five years of professional localization or translation work.
• Tools and methods: Experience with MQM or LQA, CAT tools, translation memory, termbases, and quality assurance workflows.
• Other requirements: Strong editorial judgment, close attention to detail, reliable fact-checking habits, and clear documentation.
• Preferred: Previous AI data training, annotation, or evaluation experience; terminology management, style guide, copyediting, and linguistic quality assurance experience.
