Vietnamese-Speaking AI Quality Assurance Lead

As a Vietnamese Quality Assurance Lead, you will review AI-generated Vietnamese content and trainer or QA submissions. You will check work against project guidelines and provide clear written feedback that helps contributors produce accurate, natural, and consistent results.

You will also help maintain the systems that support Vietnamese-language projects, including documentation, quality tracking, onboarding materials, and workflow updates.

• Review Vietnamese AI training outputs and trainer or QA submissions for quality and consistency.
• Assess accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, formatting, cultural fit, preserved meaning, instruction-following, and project rubrics.
• Identify mistranslations, literal phrasing, unnatural tone, incorrect diacritics, unsupported claims, ambiguity, and inconsistent terminology.
• Escalate recurring or critical issues and help contributors understand project expectations.
• Maintain style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
• Support onboarding and training calls for trainers and QAs.
• Communicate workflow updates and quality expectations across remote teams.
• Help improve repeatable QA processes for Vietnamese-language projects.

What it pays and takes

This is a remote contractor role for an experienced Vietnamese language and quality reviewer. The work is part time and requires at least 20 hours per week.

• Pay: $25 per hour.

• Location: Remote, with applicants based in Cambodia, the United States, or Vietnam.
• Languages: Fluent Vietnamese and strong English communication skills.
• Experience: Vietnamese writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language-review work.
• Knowledge: Vietnamese grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone markers, diacritics, register, and cultural context.
• Preferred: Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
• Tools: Comfort with Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems.

Helpful background

A degree in Vietnamese, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, quality assurance, or a related field is helpful. Experience with Northern, Central, and Southern Vietnamese usage differences, large language models, prompt or response evaluation, or rubric-based language model QA is also useful.
