The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking a Korean Language AI Training Expert for a remote, part-time contractor engagement supporting Korean-language AI training tasks. You will apply detailed linguistic judgment to content evaluation, generation, translation, localization, and annotation.
This opportunity is listed as entry level, and prior AI experience is not required. Relevant language expertise and professional judgment are the primary focus.

What You'll Do
You will analyze Korean text and spoken material and communicate clear, constructive feedback about linguistic quality. Your work will support stronger AI language understanding and help improve the processes used to collect and annotate language data.
Evaluate Korean content for accuracy, clarity, cultural relevance, and natural usage
Generate Korean content that reflects idiomatic and contextually appropriate language
Identify linguistic issues, inconsistencies, and unnatural phrasing in text and spoken material
Provide detailed feedback and linguistic annotations for AI language improvement
Translate and localize materials between Korean and English, prioritizing contextual meaning over literal wording
Help refine data collection and annotation processes with other project participants
Contribute to language guidelines and resources designed for AI training
Communicate regularly in writing and verbally about progress, challenges, and effective practices
Required Qualifications
The ideal contributor combines native-level Korean judgment with advanced English ability and a strong understanding of how language works in professional and cultural contexts.
Native or near-native Korean proficiency, including idiomatic and culturally sensitive usage
Advanced English proficiency for bilingual translation, localization, and communication
Knowledge of linguistics, translation, localization, or a related language discipline
Experience reviewing professional language data or content for accuracy and clarity
Strong written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English
Ability to produce precise annotations and constructive feedback for AI language improvement
Strong intercultural awareness and sensitivity to Korean-language nuances
Helpful Background
Familiarity with language technology, digital content platforms, or AI-driven projects may be useful. However, previous AI experience is not required when you bring relevant linguistic expertise and professional language judgment.
Background in linguistics, translation, localization, or a related language field
Professional experience working with language data or reviewing content
