Telugu-Speaking Quality Assurance Lead

As a Telugu Quality Assurance Lead, you will review AI-generated Telugu content and trainer QA work against project rubrics. You will help keep language accurate, natural, culturally appropriate, and consistent across Telugu AI training projects.

You will also guide trainers and quality reviewers, track recurring issues, maintain project materials, and support onboarding and contributor follow-up.

• Review Telugu content for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, formatting, and preserved meaning.
• Check trainer QA work and identify mistranslations, literal wording, unnatural tone, unsupported claims, ambiguity, and inconsistent terms.
• Find recurring quality problems and escalate critical issues when needed.
• Share project updates, workflow changes, and quality expectations with trainers and QAs.
• Answer questions about Telugu wording, register, translation fidelity, cultural context, and regional usage.
• Maintain style guides, trackers, FAQs, quality notes, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
• Run onboarding and training calls covering workflows, rubrics, and Telugu-specific style requirements.
• Help improve QA processes and support contributor activation and follow-up.

What it pays and takes

This is an intermediate-level, part-time remote contractor role. Experience in language review, content quality, AI training, education, annotation, or related work is relevant.

• Pay: Up to $25 per hour.
• Time: 20+ hours per week.
• Location: Remote, with hiring in India, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates.
• Language: Fluent Telugu, plus strong English communication skills.
• Required: Strong Telugu grammar, punctuation, tone, register, regional variation, and cultural knowledge.
• Required: Ability to assess detailed rubrics and give clear written feedback.
• Preferred: Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
• Helpful: A degree in Telugu, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, quality assurance, or a related field.
• Helpful: Experience with Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, or project management systems.
• Helpful: Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt and response evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA.
