The Role

OpenTrain is hiring an intermediate-level Ukrainian Language AI Reviewer to evaluate AI-generated Ukrainian content and produce gold-standard reference material. You will assess meaning, mistranslations, register, ambiguity, logical consistency, safety concerns, and adherence to prompts.

The role requires native or near-native Ukrainian writing ability and strong professional English for clear written feedback. Candidates with mid- to senior-level language and quality assurance experience are a strong match.

What You’ll Do

You will review and compare AI responses using defined quality criteria, then explain your judgments in precise written feedback. You will also create Ukrainian rewrites and model answers that demonstrate best practices in grammar, style, tone, and meaning.

• Review AI-generated Ukrainian content for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, and cultural fit
• Identify mistranslations, register problems, ambiguous phrasing, hallucinated claims, and logic issues
• Write high-quality Ukrainian rewrites and gold-standard reference answers
• Compare multiple AI responses and rate their overall quality and correctness
• Check for unsafe, misleading, or policy-risk language when needed
• Validate reliability across general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing tasks

Required Qualifications

You should be able to explain language and quality issues clearly, work independently, and apply evaluation standards consistently in a remote contractor environment. Experience with AI data training, translation quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred.

• Native or near-native Ukrainian reading and writing ability
• Strong professional English for detailed written feedback
• Experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, or similar language work
• Strong command of Ukrainian grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and multiple registers
• Ability to explain grammar, register, tone, and meaning issues clearly
• High attention to detail, self-direction, and consistency
• Experience with AI data training, translation QA, or rubric-based evaluation

Helpful Background

Additional experience can help you succeed when reviewing nuanced language tasks and maintaining consistent standards across varied content. Familiarity with prompt-based evaluation and factual cross-checking is especially useful.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in linguistics, Ukrainian or English literature, communications, journalism, translation, or a related field
• Experience maintaining product or UI terminology across long documents or conversations
