Slovak Language AI Evaluation Expert

The work

As a Slovak Language AI Evaluation Expert, you will help improve language models by reviewing Slovak text and creating examples they can learn from. The work combines Slovak editing, localization review, translation assessment, content writing, and comparison of AI responses.

• Create prompts and high-quality Slovak reference answers for general knowledge, customer support, education, conversation, translation, localization, and culturally sensitive topics.
• Review grammar, spelling, diacritics, punctuation, tone, register, terminology, meaning, and natural phrasing in AI-generated Slovak text.
• Find mistranslations, unclear wording, factual errors, bias, unsafe or misleading content, and language that does not fit Slovak culture.
• Write clear rewrites and model answers that show strong Slovak writing.
• Rate or compare responses for correctness, fluency, meaning preservation, structure, safety, tone, and cultural appropriateness.

What it pays and takes

This is a remote, hourly contractor role for someone based in Slovakia. The role is listed as part-time and requires at least 20 hours per week.

• Pay: Up to $20 per hour.
• Location: Slovakia only.
• Languages: Native or near-native Slovak and professional English at C1 level or higher.
• Availability: 20 or more hours per week.
• Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, Slovak language or literature, translation, communications, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: At least three years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content quality assurance, journalism, education, or related language work.
• Knowledge: Strong command of Slovak grammar, cases, declension, conjugation, aspect, word order, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, tone, and style.
• Judgment: Ability to recognize differences between formal, neutral, conversational, professional, educational, and public-facing language.
• Helpful background: AI data training, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, localization quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation.
