Quality Assurance Lead (Tamil)

You will review Tamil AI training content and trainer or QA submissions against project guidelines. Your feedback will help contributors meet standards for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, instruction-following, and formatting.

• Review Tamil AI training content and trainer or QA submissions for quality and rubric adherence.
• Write precise feedback, escalate recurring problems, and help contributors follow changing guidelines.
• Support onboarding and training calls for trainers and QAs.
• Maintain style guides, trackers, FAQs, examples, honeypots, and other quality documents.
• Identify recurring gaps and help build scalable QA processes for Tamil-language projects.

What It Pays and Takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor role for an intermediate-level contributor. The role is open to candidates in India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Sri Lanka.

• Pay: $25 per hour.
• Time: 20+ hours per week.
• Language: Fluent Tamil with strong reading and writing skills, plus strong English communication skills.
• Knowledge: Tamil grammar, spelling, tone, register, regional variation, and cultural context.
• Experience: Translation quality evaluation, localization, rubric-based language QA, Tamil writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, or related language-review work.
• Preferred: Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
• Helpful: A degree in Tamil, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, quality assurance, or a related field.
• Helpful: Familiarity with Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management tools.
• Helpful: Experience with AI training, data annotation, large language models, or prompt and response evaluation.
