Quality Assurance Lead (Punjabi)

As a Punjabi Quality Assurance Lead, you will review AI-generated Punjabi content and trainer QA submissions against project rubrics and language guidelines. You will give clear written feedback and help maintain consistent standards across remote teams.

The role also includes supporting onboarding, organizing Punjabi-language workflows, tracking recurring problems, and helping improve documentation and training processes.

• Review Punjabi AI-generated content and trainer QA submissions for quality and consistency
• Check grammar, spelling, tone, register, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, formatting, and instruction following
• Evaluate work against detailed project rubrics and language guidelines
• Identify mistranslation, unnatural phrasing, and inconsistent terminology
• Maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, examples, and onboarding materials
• Share quality updates and expectations with remote trainers and quality reviewers
• Support onboarding, training calls, and workflow improvements
• Track recurring issues and escalate critical quality concerns

What it pays and takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor role for an intermediate-level contributor. The work is focused on Punjabi language quality for AI training projects.

• $25 per hour
• 20+ hours per week
• Remote work open to candidates in Canada, India, and Pakistan
• Fluent Punjabi reading and writing ability
• Strong English communication skills for written feedback and team coordination
• Experience in Punjabi writing, editing, translation, localization, content quality assurance, or related language review work
• Familiarity with Gurmukhi and/or Shahmukhi script requirements
• Ability to assess content against detailed rubrics and identify language and quality problems
• Comfort working remotely with documentation and team communication tools
• Experience with AI training, data annotation, or rubric-based language model quality assurance is a strong plus

Helpful background

A degree or similar background in Punjabi, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, or quality assurance can be helpful. Experience leading or supporting remote trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or quality reviewers is also useful.

Familiarity with localization quality assurance and translation quality review can help you succeed in this role.
