Flexible, remote-friendly opportunities that suit part-time and contractor schedules.
About AI training work
AI training (data labeling / annotation) is the human side of building machine intelligence. Contributors prepare, evaluate, and correct examples—text, audio, images, and model outputs—so models learn accurate language, tone, and behavior.
This role focuses on Finnish-language evaluation and RLHF-style review: your assessments and feedback directly influence model quality and trainer performance.
Typical benefits: fully remote work, flexible hours, and direct impact on model behavior.
Projects range from rating and editing responses to checking translation fidelity and rubric compliance.
The role
We are hiring a Finnish Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Finnish AI training projects. This is a remote contractor position, expected to run 20+ hours per week.
Position type: Contractor, part-time.
Location requirement: Finland (remote).
Pay: USD $55 per hour.
What you'll do
You will review AI-generated Finnish content and the QA work performed by trainers and reviewers, then provide clear, written feedback and maintain quality documentation to keep contributors aligned with evolving guidelines.

Communicate guideline updates and workflow changes to trainers and QAs.
Support onboarding, reactivation, and follow-ups for remote contributors.
Improve and document quality workflows as projects evolve.
Requirements
You must be able to evaluate Finnish language output at a high level, communicate clearly in English for documentation and coordination, and be familiar with rubric-based evaluation or AI training workflows.
Native or near-native Finnish reading and writing ability.
Strong English communication skills for feedback, documentation, and team coordination.
Experience in Finnish writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, or related language review workflows.
Familiarity with AI training, data annotation, large language models, or rubric-based evaluation.
Ability to judge Finnish grammar, spelling, tone, register, cultural context, and translation fidelity.
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable using remote collaboration and tracking tools.
Helpful background
The following are useful but not strictly required; they reflect the kinds of experience that help people excel in this position.
Degree in Finnish, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, Education, or Quality Assurance.

Comfort handling both standard Finnish and simplified Finnish when required.
Compensation, logistics, and how to apply
This contract role pays USD $55 per hour and expects 20+ hours per week. Work is fully remote but restricted to contributors based in Finland. You will work primarily with text data and evaluation/ranking label types (evaluation ratings and RLHF-style review).
Data type: Text. Label types: Evaluation rating, RLHF.
Employment: Contractor, part-time. Country: Finland only.
