About this role
OpenTrain is recruiting for an Audio Quality AI Data Reviewer to support AI training through careful review and annotation of robotic video and audio content. You will assess the clarity and quality of recordings, identify specific audio problems, and create accurate labels, notes, and feedback using defined project guidelines. This role is well suited to audio professionals who can apply production knowledge consistently to structured media-review tasks.

What you will do
Review and annotate audio and robotic video data according to provided guidelines. Identify background noise, clipping, distortion, echo, hum, dropouts, and other recording issues. Assess audio quality and clarity, then categorize issues accurately. Provide concise labels, notes, and feedback on reviewed content. Follow annotation standards consistently and maintain accuracy across assigned tasks. Communicate findings clearly while working independently in a remote environment.

Required skills
Professional or academic experience in audio engineering, audio production, sound editing, or a related field. Strong understanding of audio quality and common recording issues. Familiarity with audio editing or production tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Comfort reviewing video and audio content and completing annotation work.

Helpful background
A bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Sound Production, Music Technology, or a related field is helpful. Experience with audio quality assurance, editing, annotation, or media review is also valuable. Previous data annotation or AI training experience can support the work but is not required.
