Mandarin-Speaking Audio Transcription Expert

You will create accurate, verbatim transcripts from Mandarin and English audio. You will also add project tags, review completed transcripts, resolve unclear content, and follow the required formatting and documentation standards.

• Listen to Mandarin and English audio and produce accurate transcriptions.
• Add relevant tags or contextual notes to transcript text.
• Proofread and edit transcripts for accuracy and consistency.
• Follow project formatting and documentation guidelines.
• Work with coordinators to clarify ambiguous audio or language issues.
• Deliver completed transcripts within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Share linguistic insights that help improve AI systems using Mandarin data.

What It Pays And Takes

This is a part-time contractor role for someone who can work independently and manage project deliverables remotely. No prior AI experience is required, but professional transcription experience and strong Mandarin and English listening skills are required.

• Pay: $20 to $30 per hour equivalent, paid per task.
• Time: 20 or more hours per week.
• Work arrangement: Remote and part-time contract work.
• Languages: Professional fluency in Mandarin, with advanced listening and comprehension skills, plus strong English listening and comprehension.
