About AI training work

AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is how modern AI models learn from examples prepared and reviewed by people. This project focuses on Vietnamese-language translation, localization, and evaluation: you will directly influence model quality by checking accuracy, cultural nuance, reasoning, and alignment with prompts.

The role

You will review AI-generated Vietnamese responses, assess reasoning and step-by-step solutions, fact-check localized details, and produce clear explanations of correct methods. The work emphasizes linguistic quality, cultural and tone appropriateness for Vietnam, and MQM/LQA-style error analysis.

Label types include RLHF and evaluation ratings; data is text-based and the project uses contractor workflows and other labeling software.

What you'll do

Perform detailed reviews of AI-generated Vietnamese content, comparing multiple model responses and rating them for correctness, clarity, and adherence to prompts. Produce written explanations showing correct reasoning and methods when responses are incorrect or incomplete.

Apply localization expertise to check names, dates, references, terminology, tone, and cultural nuance, and use MQM or LQA-style error thinking to score and explain issues consistently.

• Write high-quality explanations and error analyses using MQM/LQA concepts.
• Use CAT tools, terminology management, and style guides to ensure consistency.

Requirements

You must have native or near-native Vietnamese proficiency with strong locale awareness for Vietnam and at least C1-level English reading and writing. Prior experience in Vietnamese translation, localization, or linguistic QA is required.

Familiarity with CAT tools, QA workflows, terminology management, and style guides is necessary. Strong editorial judgment for register, tone, inclusivity, and cultural nuance is expected. Prior AI data training, annotation, or evaluation experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Native or near-native Vietnamese; strong locale awareness for Vietnam.
• Minimum C1 English reading and writing ability.
• Experience in translation, localization, or linguistic QA and CAT tools.
• Experience applying MQM or LQA concepts and performing severity-based error analysis.
• Ability to fact-check and evaluate AI response quality and prompt adherence.

Schedule, pay, and logistics

This is hourly contractor work based in Vietnam. The project is roughly 20 hours per week over about 8 weeks. Hourly compensation is fixed at USD 20/hour.

Work remotely and document your reviews clearly; the contract is part-time and organized through standard contractor workflows. Exact scheduling and throughput expectations will be provided by the project manager.
