The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Thai Audio Language Evaluator to support AI training work focused on Thai speech. You will listen to Thai audio clips and assess speaker or model speech outputs using established project rubrics. Prior AI training experience is not required; strong real-world knowledge of Thai audio language is the most important qualification.

Time requirement: 20+ hours per week

What You'll Do
You will complete repeated audio review tasks accurately and maintain consistent quality across evaluations. Your assessments and written explanations will help project teams understand how AI-generated or recorded Thai speech performs in real-world language use.
Listen to Thai audio clips and evaluate nativeness, fluency, pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity
Evaluate model outputs and apply project rubrics consistently
Record concise, evidence-based feedback in English
Explain the linguistic reasoning behind each assessment
Identify and clarify content ambiguities with project coordinators
Contribute insights that can improve AI model performance
Maintain accuracy and consistency across assigned audio evaluations
Requirements
This entry-level opportunity is suited to candidates with strong Thai language expertise and the ability to make careful, nuanced judgments about spoken language. Relevant professional, academic, or language experience is valuable, and prior AI training experience is not required.
Native-level command of spoken and written Thai
Ability to identify natural versus non-native Thai phrasing
Ability to evaluate Thai pronunciation, intonation, fluency, and linguistic authenticity in audio
At least B2 English proficiency for precise written and verbal communication
Strong attention to detail and the ability to articulate nuanced language differences
Ability to follow detailed instructions, apply rubrics consistently, and work independently on remote contractor tasks
Experience or foundational knowledge in phonetics, linguistics, voice work, audio analysis, transcription, music or audio engineering, media, communications, or teaching is valued
