The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Thai Bilingual AI Language Expert for a remote audio evaluation project. You will use native-level Thai proficiency and strong English communication skills to assess Thai speech and explain your judgments through clear, detailed written feedback in English.

This is an intermediate-level contractor opportunity expected to run for 3 to 6 months. Candidates must be based in Thailand or the USA and be comfortable working in both Thai and English.

What You’ll Do

You will evaluate Thai audio clips and provide language-quality judgments that help improve AI understanding and generation. Accuracy, consistency, and the ability to communicate linguistic reasoning are central to the work.

• Listen to Thai audio clips and evaluate fluency, nativeness, and authenticity.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, tone, and linguistic accuracy.
• Identify subtle differences in Thai language usage and speech patterns.
• Provide clear and concise written feedback in English.
• Explain the reasoning behind each evaluation with detailed linguistic observations.
• Follow detailed evaluation guidelines consistently.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify language-related questions and guidelines.
• Complete assigned audio evaluation tasks accurately and on time.
• Contribute expert feedback that supports improved AI language understanding and generation.

Requirements

This project requires strong Thai and English language-quality review skills. No prior experience working in AI is required, but you must be able to make careful language judgments and describe your observations professionally.

• Native-level proficiency in spoken and written Thai.
• B2+ or fluent English proficiency, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong ability to communicate linguistic observations clearly and professionally.
• Ability to follow detailed evaluation guidelines consistently.
• Reliable availability for remote contract work.
• Comfort working in both English and Thai.
