The Role
OpenTrain is recruiting a Swedish Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality and consistency across Swedish AI training projects. You will review AI-generated Swedish content and trainer QA submissions, assess language and rubric performance, provide actionable feedback, and help contributors follow project guidelines.
The role is a part-time contractor position requiring 20+ hours per week. Compensation is $60 per hour.

What You'll Do
You will combine detailed Swedish language review with structured quality operations. The work includes identifying individual errors, recognizing recurring problems, communicating changes, and helping improve QA workflows over time.
Review Swedish AI-generated content and trainer QA submissions for quality and consistency
Assess grammar, spelling, tone, cultural fit, meaning preservation, instruction following, formatting, and rubric adherence
Give clear written feedback on language, translation fidelity, and rubric alignment
Judge fluency, register, cultural appropriateness, terminology consistency, and natural Swedish phrasing
Track recurring issues and escalate critical quality gaps
Communicate project updates, style guidance, and workflow changes to trainers and QAs
Maintain style guides, examples, trackers, FAQs, and other documentation
Support onboarding calls and activation for contributors who are not working consistently
Help improve QA processes over time
Requirements
This role requires strong Swedish and English communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience reviewing language quality. You should be comfortable making consistent judgments against guidelines and explaining those judgments clearly to trainers and other QAs.
Strong Swedish grammar, including compounds, register, and translation-fidelity judgment
Strong Swedish and English skills
Experience with Swedish writing, editing, translation, localization, or quality assurance
Ability to review AI-generated Swedish text for naturalness and cultural appropriateness
Excellent attention to detail and structured communication
Experience identifying awkward or English-influenced Swedish phrasing
Ability to work comfortably in remote, contractor-based quality workflows
Experience with style guides, quality rubrics, and documentation workflows
Helpful Background
Experience in localization QA, trainer feedback, or AI training projects is helpful. Background in onboarding, documentation, or workflow improvement for language projects can also support success in this role.
