The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Spanish Linguistic AI Evaluation Expert to assess how effectively a large language model handles Spanish-language tasks and to curate high-quality linguistic data for model improvement. You will evaluate Spanish text for linguistic accuracy, natural phrasing, cultural appropriateness, and response quality.
The role is open worldwide and is designed for a Spanish language professional who can combine detailed language expertise with consistent, careful AI evaluation. It is an entry-level opportunity with a commitment of 20 or more hours per week and compensation of $50 per hour.

What You'll Do
You will evaluate, annotate, edit, and refine Spanish content across a range of language-model use cases. Your feedback will help identify weaknesses and support ongoing model training and improvement.
Evaluate Spanish model outputs for translation, summarization, dialogue, and grammar-correction tasks
Edit, refine, and rewrite Spanish content to meet grammatical, syntactic, semantic, cultural, and stylistic standards
Annotate Spanish text for grammatical, syntactic, and semantic features
Identify language gaps, unnatural phrasing, and other model errors
Provide detailed feedback and analysis on model performance
Apply consistent linguistic judgment across varied Spanish-language content
Requirements
Applicants should have native or near-native Spanish fluency and an excellent command of Spanish grammar, syntax, and stylistics. Professional experience in translation, editing, linguistic annotation, or NLP data work is required.
You should be comfortable recognizing subtle language issues and explaining them clearly. Strong awareness of regional variations, cultural appropriateness, and context-specific usage is important for evaluating generated Spanish accurately.
