The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Romanian Language AI Reviewer to assess AI-generated Romanian content and create high-quality reference responses. You will evaluate accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, and adherence to prompts.

The work also involves identifying mistranslations, register mismatches, ambiguity, logical inconsistencies, hallucinated claims, and policy-risk language. You will produce rewrites and model answers that reflect strong Romanian writing practices, then rate and compare multiple AI responses.

What You'll Do

You will help improve the quality and reliability of AI outputs across content such as general knowledge, customer support, education, and conversational writing. Careful judgment and precise written feedback are central to the work.

• Review Romanian AI content for correctness, fluency, tone, and cultural fit
• Create gold-standard Romanian reference content across multiple domains
• Detect meaning errors, mistranslations, awkward literal phrasing, and inconsistent terminology
• Fact-check claims when needed and rewrite content for clarity and concision without changing its meaning
• Compare AI responses and identify the strongest option for structure, safety, fidelity, and tone
• Spot hallucinations, bias, and unsafe language in model outputs

Requirements

This role requires native or near-native Romanian reading, writing, and editing ability, along with strong professional English for detailed feedback and following written guidelines. You should be comfortable evaluating both formal and informal Romanian and maintaining consistent product or UI terminology.

• Native or near-native Romanian writing and editing ability
• Strong professional English for detailed written feedback
• Strong knowledge of Romanian grammar, spelling, diacritics, punctuation, and style
• Ability to judge tone, register, cultural appropriateness, and prompt adherence
• Experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language-focused work
• Experience with translation QA, localization, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with AI response evaluation, rewriting, and factual verification

Helpful Background

A relevant academic background can support success in this role, particularly when combined with practical language QA or content evaluation experience.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Romanian or English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or a related field
• Background in model evaluation, language QA, or prompt-response writing
• Experience identifying hallucinated claims, bias, or unsafe language in AI outputs
