The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Korean Audio Transcription Expert to produce accurate, consistent transcriptions of Korean and English audio. You will also review completed work, annotate audio with contextual information, and help maintain high linguistic and data-quality standards.

This is a worldwide remote contractor role offered on a part-time basis. The advertised rate is $24–$35 USD per hour, with assignments expected to be completed within established timelines and quality benchmarks.

What You'll Do

You will turn spoken language into high-quality text and provide the contextual detail needed to make audio datasets useful for AI training. The work combines transcription, linguistic quality review, metadata annotation, and clear communication about ambiguities or process issues.

• Transcribe Korean and English audio samples with careful attention to spoken-language accuracy.
• Review, edit, and proofread transcriptions to identify errors and confirm linguistic quality.
• Annotate audio files with relevant metadata and contextual notes for AI training.
• Clarify task guidelines and stay aligned with changing project specifications.
• Complete transcription assignments within established timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Share observations about workflows, tool usability, and linguistic challenges.

Required Qualifications

This role requires native or near-native Korean fluency across spoken and written language, along with professional experience in high-accuracy audio transcription. You should be comfortable identifying, correcting, and explaining transcription or linguistic errors while managing multiple assignments.
