The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Korean Audio Recorder and Transcriber to support speech and language AI model development. You will listen to Korean audio, create accurate transcriptions and evaluations, and record provided sentences in controlled environments while producing requested background sounds.

This is an entry-level contractor opportunity. Prior AI-training experience is not required; Korean fluency, careful listening, and reliable audio work are the most important qualifications.

• Pay: $20–$65 per hour
• Expected availability: The structured project details indicate 20+ hours per week; additional requirements request a 15-hour weekly commitment. Please confirm the applicable schedule before beginning.

What You'll Do

You will complete audio and language tasks according to detailed project instructions and submit your work through the project platform. Accuracy, consistency, and responsible handling of recordings and written feedback are essential.

• Listen to Korean audio clips and provide accurate transcriptions or evaluations.
• Record yourself reading provided sentences in Korean in a stationary car or quiet office.
• Create requested background noises, such as seatbelt clicks or window motions, during recordings.
• Review and annotate audio data for speech and language AI model training.
• Submit high-quality recordings and written feedback according to project requirements.
• Follow privacy and data-usage guidelines for research and system improvement.

Requirements

You should be comfortable working independently in a remote setting, using digital platforms and audio tools, and meeting project deadlines and deliverables. Strong attention to audio quality, linguistic accuracy, and annotation detail is essential.

• Native-level Korean fluency with strong written and spoken communication.
• At least B2-level English proficiency for instructions and basic feedback.
• Experience recording audio in controlled environments or familiarity with audio tools.
• Ability to create specific background noises on request during recordings.
• Comfort committing to the required weekly schedule and meeting deadlines.
