OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. It helps people discover projects, build a professional profile, and apply in minutes as they grow experience teaching and evaluating AI.
AI training is the human work behind modern artificial intelligence. Contributors prepare and review examples such as transcriptions, speech recordings, and model outputs so AI systems can better understand language and respond accurately.
Audio quality reviewers play an important role by checking whether spoken language has been captured correctly. Careful judgments about wording, timing, and alignment help create reliable datasets for speech and language technology.
OpenTrain is hiring a Hindi Audio Transcription and Alignment Auditor to review existing Hindi AI training data rather than produce new data. You will compare speech recordings with transcriptions, apply defined error codes, make pass or fail judgments, and provide clear written rationales.
You will also verify word-level audio alignment by checking timestamps and reference text. When automated alignment is inaccurate, you will correct segment boundaries or restructure the segments as needed. The work is careful, rubric-driven language data quality auditing.
Your work will combine focused listening, transcription review, alignment checking, and consistent application of written standards. You will be expected to make each audit decision understandable to the team reviewing the data.
Native or near-native Hindi as spoken in India is required, along with strong English reading and writing skills for understanding conventions, error codes, and audit rationales. You should be comfortable listening closely to continuous speech and making consistent decisions under a written rubric.
Previous experience in transcription, subtitling, localization, linguistic annotation, or quality assurance is valuable. Experience with AI data annotation, model evaluation, phonetics, linguistics, audio editing, or waveform tools may also help you succeed.
This role is a strong fit for Hindi speakers who enjoy precise language work and can make repeatable, evidence-based judgments. It may suit people with transcription, audio review, linguistic annotation, or AI evaluation experience, as well as detail-oriented candidates ready to apply a structured rubric.
The role requires Hindi and English. It is available to contractors located in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czechia, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Spain, Finland, France, the United Kingdom, Greece, Croatia, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Latvia, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, and the United States.
