The Role

OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Hindi Audio Transcriptionist to support AI training focused on spoken Hindi audio. You will listen to real-world recordings and produce accurate Hindi transcripts that help AI systems understand natural speech.

This is an entry-level, part-time contractor role requiring 20 or more hours per week. Compensation is listed at $10-$35 USD per hour. The work is based in India and uses Hindi and English, with English helpful for understanding platform instructions.

What You'll Do

You will create detailed transcripts according to project style and formatting guidelines. The recordings may include challenging conditions, so careful listening and consistent judgment are essential.

You will work independently across substantial volumes of audio while maintaining accuracy, formatting consistency, and reliable speaker identification.

• Listen to Hindi audio recordings and produce detailed transcripts.

• Identify multiple speakers consistently throughout each recording.
• Apply punctuation, formatting, and notation conventions precisely.
• Flag unclear or ambiguous audio segments according to project protocols.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency across large volumes of audio content.

Requirements

You should be a native or near-native Hindi speaker who can understand dialects, colloquial expressions, fast-paced speech, and difficult recordings. Accurate Hindi typing in Devanagari script is required.

The work requires patience, reliability, and the ability to follow detailed instructions consistently. Prior AI experience is not required, and related transcription or audio experience is helpful but optional.
