In this role, your careful work with spoken Hindi helps AI systems recognize natural conversation, including speech patterns, pauses, multiple speakers, and challenging audio conditions.
OpenTrain is recruiting a Hindi Audio Transcriptionist to transcribe spoken Hindi recordings for AI training projects. Recordings may include multiple speakers, overlapping speech, crosstalk, background noise, filled pauses, varying audio quality, and other features of authentic conversation.
Prior AI training experience is not required. Success in this role depends on strong Hindi listening judgment, accurate Devanagari typing, consistent formatting, and careful attention to detail.
You will listen closely to Hindi audio and create accurate, detailed transcripts according to project style and formatting guidelines. You will work independently, apply quality standards consistently, and maintain accuracy across repeated transcription tasks.
You should have native or near-native Hindi fluency, including familiarity with relevant dialects, Delhi-NCR speech, and colloquial expressions. Exceptional listening judgment is important for noisy, fast-paced, and overlapping speech.
You must be able to type accurately in Devanagari and follow transcription rules consistently. Patience with repetitive work, reliable independent work habits, a quiet workspace, and a dependable internet connection are also required.
Previous experience is helpful but not required. Relevant backgrounds may include transcription, subtitle editing, closed captioning, linguistics, phonetics, audio tools, or annotation platforms.
