About OpenTrain

OpenTrain is the #1 platform for people building careers in AI training and data labeling. We connect language experts, reviewers, and annotators with ongoing AI training work, help contributors build a unified portfolio, and support career growth across projects.

OpenTrain is the hiring organization for this role. You will work directly with OpenTrain teams to shape Hebrew-language workflows and improve the quality of models that learn from human examples.

About AI training work

AI training (data labeling/annotation) is the human side of building intelligent systems: people prepare, evaluate, and correct examples models learn from. Contributors work remotely, often part-time and with flexible hours, and directly influence how state-of-the-art systems understand and generate language.

This role focuses on Hebrew-language review and quality assurance for generative model outputs and trainer/QAs, placing you at the center of how Hebrew AI behavior is shaped.

The role

As the Hebrew Quality Assurance Lead you will review AI-generated Hebrew content and submissions from trainers and QAs across Hebrew projects. Your work ensures outputs meet project rubrics for accuracy, fluency, tone, cultural appropriateness, formatting, and meaning preservation.

You will also maintain documentation, support onboarding, communicate updates to contributors, and escalate or track recurring quality issues so workflows stay aligned with evolving Hebrew language standards.

What you'll do

Day-to-day responsibilities combine hands-on review, feedback writing, and lightweight leadership to keep contributor work accurate and consistent.

  • Review Hebrew AI-generated content and trainer/QA submissions for quality, consistency, and guideline adherence.
  • Identify recurring issues in grammar, spelling, tone, register, localization choices, RTL formatting, and meaning preservation.
  • Provide clear written feedback and escalate critical or repeat quality concerns.
  • Maintain and update style guides, FAQs, trackers, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
  • Communicate updates and expectations to trainers and QAs and support onboarding and training calls.
  • Help keep contributors active and aligned with evolving workflow standards.

Requirements

You must meet the core skills and location requirements below. OpenTrain requires clear ability to evaluate Hebrew content against detailed rubrics and to communicate in English with project teams.

  • Native or near-native Hebrew reading and writing ability.
  • Strong English communication for guidelines, feedback, and team coordination.
  • Deep understanding of Hebrew grammar, punctuation, tone, cultural context, and right-to-left script handling.
  • Experience reviewing AI-generated content, rubric-based QA, Hebrew editing, translation, localization, or similar language-review work.
  • Comfort using remote collaboration tools (Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, project management systems).
  • Must be located in Israel (role is not worldwide).
  • Availability 20+ hours/week; employment type: contractor, part-time.

Helpful background

The following experience is not required but will make you a stronger candidate and help you move into a leadership capacity faster.

  • Leadership experience managing trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
  • Experience with large language models, prompt/response evaluation, or rubric-based QA (RLHF, evaluation rating).
  • Familiarity with both formal and conversational Hebrew, gendered language issues, and localization terminology for Israeli users.

Logistics & compensation

Compensation is hourly: USD 55 per hour. This is a contractor, part-time role that requires 20+ hours per week and is open only to candidates based in Israel. Work centers on text data and includes evaluation rating and RLHF-style labeling tasks.

  • Pay: $55 USD per hour.
  • Time: 20+ hours per week, part-time contractor.
  • Data type: Text. Labeling types: Evaluation rating, RLHF.
  • Languages required: Hebrew (he) and English (en).

How to apply

Create a free OpenTrain account, complete your profile, and submit your application. Include examples or a brief summary of your Hebrew editing, translation, or QA experience if available.

If selected, you will participate in onboarding, review sample tasks, and begin work using collaborative tools such as Google Docs/Sheets and communication platforms used by the project team.
