The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Gujarati Quality Assurance Lead to review AI-generated Gujarati content and trainer submissions against project guidelines and detailed rubrics. You will provide precise written feedback, monitor consistency, identify recurring issues, support onboarding, maintain quality documentation, and help align Gujarati-language workflows across remote contributors.

This is an intermediate, part-time contractor opportunity for candidates who can contribute 20 or more hours per week. The listed rate is $30 per hour, and applications are open to candidates in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

What You’ll Do

You will combine careful Gujarati language review with contributor coaching and workflow support. Your evaluations should be consistent, actionable, and grounded in the project’s rubrics and guidelines.

• Review Gujarati AI training outputs for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, formatting, and instruction-following
• Evaluate trainer and QA work, identify recurring issues, and communicate clear feedback to help contributors improve
• Support onboarding for Gujarati trainers, annotators, reviewers, or other contributors
• Maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, dashboards, and other quality documentation
• Help coordinate quality workflows across remote teams
• Contribute to process improvements that support scalable Gujarati QA

Requirements

This role requires strong Gujarati language judgment and the ability to communicate quality decisions clearly in English. You should be comfortable applying rubric-based standards consistently and working with digital workflow tools.

• Native or near-native Gujarati writing and reading ability
• Strong English communication skills for guidelines, feedback, and team coordination
• Experience reviewing translation, localization, or language QA work
• Ability to judge Gujarati grammar, tone, register, and cultural appropriateness
• Background in Gujarati writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language-review work
• Experience using Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, or similar workflow tools
• Detail-oriented and organized approach to quality review

Helpful Background

Experience supporting other contributors is valuable, especially in remote or rubric-driven environments. Familiarity with AI systems can help you understand the purpose and workflow of the project, although the core focus is high-quality Gujarati review.
