OpenTrain is the #1 platform for people building careers in AI training and data labeling. We connect contributors with real AI training work, help them build unified portfolios, and support durable freelance careers in a fast-growing industry.
As the hiring organization for this role, OpenTrain runs and coordinates the project work and contractor relationships — we're looking for experienced Greek-language QA talent to join our remote team.
About AI training and why it matters
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback) is the human side of building AI: people prepare, review, and rate examples that teach models to understand language and follow instructions. This work is remote, flexible, and accessible to people with language skills, attention to detail, or domain knowledge.
Contributors shape how state-of-the-art systems behave. As a Greek QA Lead you’ll have direct impact on the quality and safety of Greek-language model outputs across multiple projects.
The role — what we're hiring for
OpenTrain is hiring a Greek Quality Assurance Lead to review AI-generated Greek content and trainer QA work across Greek-language projects. You will evaluate outputs against project guidelines, provide precise written feedback, and help keep quality standards consistent across remote contributors.
This is a contractor, part-time role (20+ hours per week). Work is remote but limited to applicants based in Greece.
What you'll do day-to-day
Review Greek AI-generated text and trainer QA submissions for accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, and rubric adherence.
Provide clear, actionable written feedback and escalate recurring or critical issues to project leads.
Check meaning preservation, instruction-following, formatting, and consistency with project rubrics and style guides.
Maintain and improve Greek-language documentation: style guides, trackers, FAQs, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
Support onboarding and training calls for contributors; help activate and coach contributors who are not working consistently.
Spot recurring workflow issues and propose process improvements to keep Greek-language projects running smoothly.
Requirements — what you must bring
Native or near-native Greek proficiency with excellent reading and writing skills.
Strong English communication skills for reading guidelines and coordinating with the team.
Experience in Greek writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, annotation, or related language-review workflows.
Deep knowledge of Greek grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, register, and cultural context — including differences between Greece and Cyprus usage.
Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and give precise written feedback.
Experience supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
Helpful background and tools experience
Candidates with degrees in Greek, Linguistics, Translation, Communications, Journalism, Education, or Quality Assurance are encouraged to apply, though degree is not required.
Familiarity with AI training concepts (LLMs, rubric-based evaluation), and tools like Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and Discord is a plus.
Hours, pay, and location
This is a contractor, part-time role requiring 20+ hours per week. Pay is USD 30 per hour (hourly, contractor).
Applicants must be located in Greece and able to work remotely; strong English is required for cross-team communication.
How to apply and next steps
Create or sign in to your free OpenTrain account and submit your application for this role. Include examples of Greek-language QA, editing, translation, or related work when possible.
If selected, you'll participate in a short onboarding and calibration process so you can begin reviewing submissions and contributing to Greek-language quality efforts.
