The role

OpenTrain is hiring an Arabic Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality and consistency across Arabic AI training projects. This contractor role focuses on reviewing Arabic outputs and trainer QA work, providing detailed written feedback, and maintaining Arabic-specific documentation and processes.

• Contractor, part-time: 20+ hours per week.
• Location restriction: applicants must be based in Egypt.
• Pay: $40 USD per hour.

What you'll do

You will evaluate Arabic model outputs and trainer assessments against project rubrics, identify recurring errors, and help keep Arabic-language workflows aligned as projects evolve.

• Review AI-generated Arabic content and trainer QA work using project rubrics and style guidance.
• Identify grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, tone, register, dialect consistency, and RTL formatting issues.
• Judge translation fidelity, unnatural phrasing, mistranslation, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, and inconsistent terminology.
• Provide clear, actionable written feedback to trainers and QAs and communicate updates to the team.
• Maintain and update Arabic documentation: style guides, trackers, FAQs, examples, honeypots, and onboarding materials.
• Support onboarding and training for contributors working on Arabic QA workflows.
• Help improve scalable QA processes and workflow efficiency for Arabic projects.

Requirements

• Native or near-native Arabic reading and writing ability.
• Strong English communication skills for feedback, coordination, and following project guidelines.
• Experience with Arabic writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, annotation, or related language-review workflows.
• Solid knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic, regional dialect variation, tone, register, and RTL formatting.
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and identify fluency, tone, and meaning problems.
• Familiarity with AI training or rubric-based LLM QA workflows is required.

The role is contracted through OpenTrain and paid hourly at $40 USD. Work is remote but limited to contributors located in Egypt; fluency in Arabic and strong English are required.
