The role — Arabic Quality Assurance Lead

We’re hiring an Arabic Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality and consistency across Arabic AI training projects. This is a contractor, part-time role (20+ hours per week) open to applicants based in Egypt (EG) or Saudi Arabia (SA).

You will review Arabic AI-generated content and the QA work of trainers, apply project rubrics and style guidance, provide precise written feedback, and help maintain and evolve Arabic documentation and processes.

What you'll do day-to-day

Your core responsibilities center on evaluation, feedback, and documentation to keep Arabic workflows consistent and high-quality.

• Review Arabic AI outputs and trainer QA work against project rubrics and style guidance.
• Identify grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, and RTL formatting issues.
• Assess tone, register, dialect consistency, translation fidelity, and meaning preservation.
• Provide clear, actionable written feedback to trainers and QAs and help resolve recurring quality gaps.
• Maintain and update Arabic project materials: style guides, trackers, FAQs, examples, honeypots, and onboarding docs.
• Support onboarding and training for contributors working on Arabic QA workflows.
• Help improve scalable QA processes for Arabic AI training projects.

Requirements

You must meet these core requirements to succeed in the role.

• Native or near-native Arabic reading and writing ability.
• Strong English communication skills for detailed feedback and coordination.
• Knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic, dialect variation, and RTL formatting.
• Experience reviewing Arabic translation quality, localization, or QA work.
• Ability to judge Arabic output against rubrics for fluency, tone, and meaning.
• Familiarity with AI training or rubric-based LLM QA workflows (experience in annotation, QA, translation, editing, or related roles).
• Experience supporting or leading remote teams of trainers, reviewers, editors, or QAs is a strong plus.
