Setting up Stripe Connect
Start Stripe onboarding
Click Set up payouts. You’ll be redirected to Stripe’s hosted onboarding flow.
Complete Stripe's onboarding
Stripe will ask for your country, personal or business details, and bank account information. Follow the steps on Stripe’s pages — OpenTrain AI does not handle this information directly.
Supported countries
Stripe Connect is available in most countries where Stripe operates. If your country is supported, you can complete setup immediately. If your country is not yet supported, reach out to support@opentrain.ai and the team can let you know when support is expected or explore other options.Connecting a bank account
During Stripe onboarding, you’ll be asked to add a bank account (or debit card, depending on your country). This is where milestone payouts are deposited. If you need to change your bank account after setup, you can return to your Stripe account settings through Settings → Payouts in your trainer dashboard. Click Manage payouts to access your Stripe Express dashboard, where you can update banking details.Payout timing
OpenTrain AI uses a daily payout schedule. Once a milestone is approved and funds are released, Stripe processes the transfer and deposits it to your bank account. Processing times vary by country and bank — typically 1–3 business days after the transfer is initiated.If payout setup fails

If you didn’t fully complete Stripe’s onboarding steps, your payout setup is incomplete. Return to Settings → Payouts in your trainer dashboard and click Set up payouts again. Stripe will continue from where you left off or restart the flow.

Stripe may require additional verification documents after initial setup. Go to Settings → Payouts → Manage payouts to see what Stripe needs. Completing the requested steps will restore your payout access.

If your Stripe account becomes disconnected or shows errors, click Set up payouts in your settings to restart the connection. OpenTrain AI will create a fresh onboarding link. Contact support@opentrain.ai if the issue persists.
