The Role

OpenTrain AI is hiring a Peru-based female voice actor who is a native Peruvian Spanish speaker. You will create high-quality recordings for training and evaluating next-generation text-to-speech systems.

The recordings will support an internal CX AI agent project and will be used exclusively for that project. The role includes comfort with voice cloning for this internal AI agent.

• Contractor position
• Part-time schedule of 5 to 10 hours per week
• Less than 20 hours per week
• Remote work from Peru
• Pay: $50 to $100 USD per hour

What You'll Do

You will record a variety of scripts and deliver consistent, expressive audio that follows detailed technical and performance guidelines. The work requires careful attention to sound quality, pronunciation, tone, pacing, and emotional delivery.

• Record conversational, narrative, instructional, and other script styles
• Deliver clear, natural, expressive speech with controlled tone, pacing, and pronunciation
• Maintain consistent voice, accent, and delivery across recording sessions
• Follow guidance for the recording environment, microphone setup, and file formatting
• Perform multiple takes with variations in emotion, emphasis, and vocal style when requested
• Follow scripts precisely while maintaining a natural delivery

Requirements

This role is open to a native Peruvian female Spanish speaker currently based in Peru. A clear, expressive voice and the ability to control intonation, diction, and emotional range are essential.

You must have access to a professional or near-professional recording setup and reliable availability throughout the project duration.

Helpful Experience

Prior experience is not required for this entry-level opportunity, but relevant recording experience can help you succeed. Familiarity with audio production tools and different vocal styles is also useful.

• Voice acting, narration, or broadcast experience
• Recording for text-to-speech, audiobooks, IVR systems, or AI voice datasets
• Experience with Audacity, Adobe Audition, Reaper, or similar audio editing tools
• Ability to deliver conversational, corporate, energetic, and calm vocal styles
