About OpenTrain
OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. Creating an OpenTrain account is free and gives you access to projects where people help teach AI systems by annotating and reviewing real data.
We connect skilled annotators with short and long-term projects across the AI training ecosystem — a fast-growing way to work remotely, flexibly, and on the cutting edge of how modern AI gets built.
About AI Training Work
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback) is the human side of building AI: people prepare and review examples that models learn from. Tasks range from transcription and audio labeling to rating model-generated text and moderating content.
This type of work is often remote and flexible, suits part-time schedules, and can be accessible without prior formal industry experience; specialized tasks, like language-focused transcription review, pay more for relevant skills.
The Role
We are seeking Swedish annotators based in Sweden to join a short test project focused on video transcription annotation. The role is contract, part-time, and paid at USD 22 per hour.
This is an intermediate-level task: ideal candidates have 2–3 years of experience reviewing video or audio transcripts, strong Swedish writing skills, and a keen eye for detail. Successful performance on the test may lead to a longer-term engagement.
What You'll Do
Review transcripts of video content and assess transcription quality. For each clip, determine whether the transcript contains major errors, minor errors, or no errors.
When issues are found, identify and describe the problem, include the relevant timestamp(s), and clearly indicate the severity of each error. Work will involve audio recordings extracted from video files.
- Classify transcripts as Major Error / Minor Error / No Error for each clip.
- Provide concise descriptions of any errors found and the exact timestamps where they occur.
- Work with video-derived audio recordings and a provided annotation tool (labeling software listed as Other).
Requirements
All requirements below come from the project brief and are required for consideration.
- Native-level speaker of Swedish (must be based in Sweden).
- 2–3 years of experience in video and audio annotation or transcription review (intermediate level).
- Strong written Swedish and excellent attention to detail.
- Available for less than 20 hours per week as a contract, part-time contributor.
- Ability to mark timestamps and clearly describe error severity in each transcript.
Who Should Apply
Apply if you are a native Swedish speaker with hands-on experience reviewing audio or video transcripts and you want flexible, part-time contract work. This role suits people who enjoy precise, language-focused annotation and producing clear written notes about errors.
Because this starts as a short test project, candidates who do well may be invited to continue on a longer-term project.
How It Works
Submit your application through OpenTrain. Selected candidates will be asked to complete a short test task so the team can evaluate annotation quality against project standards.
This is a paid, hourly contract role at USD 22/hour for under 20 hours/week. If your test work meets quality expectations, the project may extend into an ongoing part-time engagement.
- Project data type: Video (audio recordings extracted for transcript review).
- Label types: Audio recording transcription assessment; tool: Other (a provided annotation platform).
- Employment types: Contractor, Part-time.
