About AI Training Work
AI training (data labeling/annotation) is the human work that helps modern models learn: people prepare and review examples—transcribing audio, annotating video, rating model outputs, and more. These roles are often 100% remote, flexible, and accessible to people with language skills and attention to detail.
This role sits at the intersection of video and speech annotation: your work will directly improve transcription quality and help shape how Slovak-language AI understands spoken content.
Role Overview
We are hiring Slovak annotators based in Slovakia to review video transcripts and flag transcription errors. This is a short paid test project (paid hourly) with potential to extend into longer-term part-time contracting if work quality meets standards.
Position: Video Transcription Annotator (Slovak)
Employment type: Contractor, Part-time
Hours: Less than 20 hours per week
Pay: USD $9.00 per hour (pay-per-hour)
What You'll Do
Your primary responsibility is to assess transcript accuracy and document any errors clearly and precisely.
Review transcripts of Slovak video/audio content for accuracy.
Determine whether each transcript contains major, minor, or no errors.
Record the timestamp(s) where errors occur and describe the issue in Slovak.
Clearly indicate the severity for each identified error and provide concise explanations.
Follow provided labeling guidelines and example annotations for consistency.
Requirements
Meet the core requirements below to be considered for this role. We will verify language ability and review sample annotations during the test.
Native-level speaker of Slovak (required).
Based in Slovakia (work must be performed from Slovakia).
2–3 years' experience in video and audio annotation (intermediate level).
Strong Slovak writing skills and high attention to detail.
Comfortable working as a contractor on a part-time schedule (under 20 hrs/week).
Compensation, Tools, and Data
This project is paid per hour at USD $9.00/hour. The test is short; if your work meets quality standards, OpenTrain AI may offer continued part-time contracting work.
Data will be video with associated transcripts; annotations focus on audio/transcription accuracy. Specific labeling software will be provided or accessed through OpenTrain workflows.
Data type: Video (audio-focused transcription review).
Apply through your OpenTrain account. After application, you'll be invited to a short paid test dataset where you'll perform the tasks described above. We evaluate quality, consistency, and adherence to guidelines.
If you pass the test and maintain high-quality work, you may be invited to ongoing short-term or part-time projects. Creating an OpenTrain account is free.
Step 1: Create or sign in to your free OpenTrain account and submit your application.
Step 2: Complete the short paid test project and follow the provided labeling instructions.
Step 3: Receive feedback; high-quality work can lead to continued part-time contracting opportunities.
