The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a travel, hospitality, and culinary presentation specialist to review and reconstruct business slides for AI training. You will work with images of slides covering travel, hospitality, tourism, and culinary topics, recreating their content and improving how information is communicated.

Assignments are flexible and sprint-based. Individual slide assignments typically require 1-2 hours, and the expected time commitment is 20 or more hours per week. This is a remote, part-time contractor role paying $150-$350 per hour.

What You’ll Do

You will analyze slide images and reproduce their text, charts, layouts, and visual elements in Microsoft PowerPoint. You will also refine the original materials to improve clarity, accuracy, visual communication, and relevance for executive or client-facing audiences.

Your work may involve reviewing property performance, guest experience, food and beverage strategy, occupancy, and demand forecasting materials. You will document revisions, explain why elements were retained or changed, and defend exhibit choices for senior audiences.

• Reconstruct slide text, charts, layouts, and visual elements from images
• Create and edit presentation materials in Microsoft PowerPoint
• Improve data visualization, message hierarchy, and visual storytelling
• Develop evidence-supported titles and clarify definitions, caveats, and assumptions
• Edit content for clarity, impact, factual accuracy, and industry context
• Interpret executive materials related to hospitality, travel, tourism, and culinary operations
• Document changes and explain the reasoning behind revisions
• Explain and defend exhibit choices for senior or client-facing audiences

Requirements

This role requires practical expertise in hospitality, travel, tourism, or food and beverage, combined with advanced presentation skills. You should be comfortable recreating slides from images and improving both their content and visual structure.

The project metadata identifies this opportunity as entry level, but the role specifically requires at least three years of direct industry experience and experience creating executive or board-level presentations.
