Tamil Audio Language Evaluation Expert

The work

You will review Tamil audio clips used in language and AI training. Your evaluations will help assess whether speech or model output sounds native, fluent, and linguistically authentic.

You will explain your decisions in clear English and provide detailed reasons so that reviews stay consistent. You may also clarify unclear language requirements with project coordinators while completing assigned reviews accurately.

• Listen to Tamil audio clips and evaluate fluency, nativeness, and linguistic authenticity.
• Assess pronunciation and intonation using established guidelines.
• Write clear English feedback about important linguistic factors.
• Give detailed justifications for each evaluation.
• Complete assigned audio reviews accurately and consistently.

What it pays and takes

This is a part-time contractor role with a time requirement of at least 20 hours per week. The work is open to candidates in the countries listed for the role, rather than worldwide.

• Pay: $30 to $65 per hour, paid in USD.
• Hours: 20 or more hours per week.
• Languages: Native-level spoken and written Tamil; at least B2 English for written and verbal communication.
• Requirements: Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to explain subtle language differences.
• You must be able to make consistent judgments about fluency, pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity.
• Helpful background: Audio analysis, transcription, linguistic assessment, voice work, linguistics, phonetics, music, audio engineering, media, communications, or teaching.
• Prior AI experience is not required.
