The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Bengali Audio Language Evaluator to review Bengali audio clips and AI model outputs against established guidelines. You will assess whether speech sounds native and fluent, while examining pronunciation, intonation, and other indicators of linguistic authenticity.

This is a worldwide, remote contractor opportunity for an individual language specialist. It is listed as entry level and requires a commitment of 20 or more hours per week.

What You'll Do

You will complete audio review tasks carefully and consistently, documenting your decisions with clear English feedback. The work requires close listening, attention to subtle linguistic differences, and the ability to explain your reasoning.

• Listen to Bengali audio clips and evaluate the speaker's or model output's nativeness and fluency.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and other indicators of linguistic authenticity using established guidelines.
• Write concise English feedback identifying important linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed justifications for each evaluation.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements or resolve ambiguities in language content.
• Contribute Bengali language insights that support improved AI understanding and generation.
• Complete assigned audio review tasks accurately and on time while maintaining consistent quality.

Required Skills

You should be able to make nuanced judgments about spoken Bengali and communicate those judgments clearly in English. Native-level Bengali ability is essential for evaluating linguistic authenticity at a detailed level.

• Native-level proficiency in spoken and written Bengali.
• At least B2-level English proficiency for written and verbal communication.
• Ability to judge nativeness, fluency, pronunciation, and intonation in Bengali audio.
