The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Creative Writer who is a native Spanish speaker from Spain for a remote contract role focused on LLM chatbot training. You will write and refine responses to prompts, helping AI systems produce natural Spanish as spoken and written in Spain.

Applicants must currently live in Spain and have lived there for at least five years. Strong familiarity with Spanish culture, local linguistic nuances, and regional dialects is essential. The listed experience level is intermediate, with more than five years of Spanish creative or content writing experience preferred but not required.

What You'll Do

You will generate authentic, culturally relevant responses from provided prompts and improve AI-generated text so it is accurate, engaging, grammatically correct, and appropriate for Spanish audiences. The work includes creative writing, question answering, text generation, editing, and proofreading.

Your writing should reflect the linguistic and cultural nuances of Spain while helping conversational AI models become more natural and relatable.

Requirements

You must be a native Spanish speaker from Spain, currently living in Spain, with at least five years of residence there. You should have an excellent command of written Spanish, including grammar, style, and regional nuance, along with basic English for following instructions and communicating with the team.

Prior experience writing responses for AI or data-labeling projects is highly preferred, particularly hands-on writing rather than only rating or evaluating model responses. Experience with tools such as ChatGPT is helpful but not essential.

Interview Writing Assessment

The interview includes questions about your previous AI or LLM training writing experience, including how long you have written responses to prompts or questions on relevant platforms. You may also be asked to share a portfolio link or describe published work if no link is available.

At the end of the interview, you will complete a short Spanish writing assessment. Questions are provided in English and Spanish, and your responses must be written in Spanish. The assessment evaluates how precisely and effectively you understand and answer each prompt.
