  • Help protect privacy and improve the reliability of speech technology.

The Role

What You'll Do

You will evaluate recordings, validate transcription and metadata quality, and document decisions clearly. The work requires careful listening, strict adherence to verbatim guidelines, and accurate assessment of complex conversations involving multiple speakers.

  • Provide detailed feedback on identified issues.

Requirements

This role is designed for a meticulous reviewer with native-level LATAM Spanish and an exceptional ear for audio detail. You should be comfortable analyzing natural, multi-speaker conversations and following precise quality standards.

  • Native proficiency in Spanish from Latin America.
  • Exceptional ability to detect subtle background noise, channel bleed, clipping, and other audio issues.
  • Strong attention to detail when checking word-level timestamps.
  • Ability to follow strict verbatim transcription rules.
  • Ability to accurately assess complex multi-speaker conversational dynamics.
  • Availability for at least 40 hours per week with four hours of PST overlap.

Helpful Backgrounds

Prior experience is not required for this entry-level opportunity, but the following backgrounds may be especially relevant to the work.

  • Linguistics or phonetics, with a deep understanding of natural speech patterns.

  • Work remotely with a computer, phone, and internet connection.
  • Gain hands-on experience in a rapidly growing technology industry.
  • Develop specialized skills in audio quality assurance and speech data.
  • Build a portfolio of AI training work across projects and platforms.
  • Potential for contract extension based on performance.
