The Role

As a Latin American Spanish Audio Preference Evaluator, you will listen to two audio recordings and select which option is better according to the project criteria. Your evaluations may focus on pronunciation, clarity, fluency, naturalness, accent appropriateness, and overall audio quality.

This is an intermediate-level contractor role for native or fluent Latin American Spanish speakers. The project is expected to run for 3 to 6 months, with a commitment of less than 20 hours per week.

What You'll Do

You will evaluate unlabeled audio recordings by comparing two versions and making an A/B preference judgment. The work requires careful listening and consistent application of the supplied rating and preference guidelines.

• Listen to Latin American Spanish audio recordings
• Compare two audio options and select the preferred recording
• Rate clarity, pronunciation, fluency, naturalness, and accent appropriateness
• Assess overall audio quality based on project instructions
• Follow detailed evaluation guidelines consistently
• Complete audio evaluation and rating tasks using the project workflow

Requirements

Applicants must have native or fluent proficiency in Latin American Spanish and strong comprehension of spoken Spanish from Latin America. You should be comfortable distinguishing subtle differences in pronunciation, clarity, fluency, accent, and naturalness.

Conversational or fluent English is needed to understand written project instructions. Experience with audio labeling, evaluation or rating tasks, linguistic annotation, transcription, quality assurance, or related language data work is preferred but not required.

• Strong listening comprehension of spoken Latin American Spanish
• Familiarity with regional Latin American Spanish accents and vocabulary preferred
• Ability to make consistent A/B judgments between recordings
• Ability to follow detailed rating guidelines
• Conversational or fluent English for written instructions
• Experience with audio evaluation or labeling workflows preferred
• Quiet listening environment and reliable headphones
