Slovenian Language Model Evaluation Expert

The work

You will review AI-generated content in Slovenian and create high-quality reference material for AI training. The work combines language review, rewriting, fact-checking, response comparison, and detailed feedback.

You will work across general knowledge, customer support, education, conversational writing, translation, localization, and culturally sensitive content.

• Check Slovenian outputs for accuracy, fluency, spelling, grammar, tone, register, cultural fit, and adherence to prompts.
• Find mistranslations, unclear or unnatural wording, terminology issues, logical inconsistencies, factual errors, bias, and unsafe or culturally inappropriate language.
• Explain errors clearly and describe how the response should be corrected.
• Create prompts, gold-standard Slovenian answers, rewrites, and model answers.
• Rate and rank responses for correctness, meaning preservation, terminology, register consistency, and overall quality.

What it pays and takes

This is a remote, hourly contractor role for candidates based in Slovenia. The work is part time with flexible scheduling, and OpenTrain estimates a commitment of about 20 hours per week for 1 to 3 months.

• Pay: Up to $25 per hour.
• Location: Slovenia only.
• Languages: Native or near-native Slovenian and professional English at C1 level or higher.
• Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, Slovenian language or literature, English literature, communications, journalism, translation, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience: At least 3 years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content quality assurance, journalism, education, or related language work.
• Language knowledge: Strong command of Slovenian grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, cases, declension, conjugation, dual number, word order, tone, and style.
• Quality judgment: Ability to distinguish formal, neutral, conversational, professional, educational, and public-facing registers.
• Attention to detail: Ability to spot subtle meaning changes, case endings, agreement, dual-number errors, terminology issues, and culturally mismatched wording.
• Helpful experience: AI data training or annotation, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, localization quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation.
