You will turn Norwegian audio and video into accurate written text for AI language training. The work includes detailed transcription, linguistic review, speech-segment classification, and careful decisions about unclear or ambiguous audio.
You will also work with coordinators and other experts to clarify requirements, keep judgments consistent, and improve transcription guidelines. Confidential information must be handled securely, and data privacy requirements must be followed.
- Transcribe Norwegian audio and video into accurate written text.
- Review and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and fidelity to the source.
- Annotate and categorize speech segments using project guidelines.
- Flag unclear audio and add contextual notes or suggested interpretations.
- Share feedback that improves transcription guidelines and workflow efficiency.
What It Pays And Takes
This is an entry-level, part-time contract role. The work is remote and requires consistent, high-quality delivery and a constructive response to feedback.
- Pay: $20 to $30 per hour.
- Language: Fluent Norwegian with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Experience: Proven experience in transcription, linguistic annotation, or a related language-focused discipline.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, precise contextual judgment, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Helpful background: Experience with transcription tools, audio editing software, linguistic annotation platforms, speech-data review, or language-content classification.
