Latvian-Speaking AI Content Evaluation Expert

You will evaluate AI-generated Latvian content and create strong reference responses for AI training. The work calls for careful language judgment across writing, translation, localization, and response quality.

• Review Latvian content for grammar, spelling, fluency, tone, register, terminology, meaning, and logical consistency.
• Write prompts, high-quality Latvian reference answers, rewrites, and model responses.
• Work on content involving general knowledge, customer support, education, conversation, translation, and localization.
• Compare and rank AI responses for correctness, meaning preservation, cultural fit, terminology, and tone.
• Find mistranslations, unclear wording, unnatural phrasing, factual hallucinations, bias, unsafe content, policy risks, and cultural mismatches.
• Fact-check claims when needed and give clear written feedback explaining errors and corrections.

What it pays and takes

This is a part-time contractor role for candidates based in Latvia. The role is listed as entry level, but strong Latvian language expertise and relevant professional experience are important.

• Pay: $20 per hour.
• Time commitment: 20 or more hours per week.
• Location: Latvia only.
• Languages: Fluent Latvian and professional English at C1 level or higher.
• Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, Latvian language or literature, translation, communications, journalism, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Language knowledge: Strong command of Latvian grammar, spelling, punctuation, diacritics, declension, conjugation, word order, tone, and style.
• Writing range: Ability to work in formal, neutral, conversational, professional, educational, and public-facing Latvian.
• Experience: At least three years in writing, editing, localization, translation, content quality assurance, journalism, education, or similar language-focused work is preferred.
• Helpful background: AI data training, translation quality assurance, editorial quality assurance, localization quality assurance, or rubric-based evaluation.
