OpenTrain AI is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. Through OpenTrain, language professionals can discover projects that help shape how modern AI systems understand, generate, and evaluate language.
AI training is the human work behind modern artificial intelligence. Language experts review model outputs, identify errors, write improved responses, and provide structured feedback so AI systems become more accurate, clear, culturally appropriate, and reliable.
OpenTrain AI is seeking an experienced Korean-English Localization and Translation Expert based in South Korea. You will review and improve AI-generated outputs using your expertise in Korean localization, translation, linguistic quality assurance, and structured evaluation.
This is an intermediate-level contractor and part-time opportunity paying $27 USD per hour. The expected time commitment is less than 20 hours per week.
You will assess AI outputs for accuracy, clarity, reasoning quality, and adherence to prompts and project guidelines. Your work will combine detailed linguistic review with consistent, defensible quality decisions.
You will also identify issues, fact-check details when needed, produce high-quality corrected outputs and explanations or model answers, and compare multiple responses using structured evaluation criteria.
This role is designed for an experienced language professional who can make rigorous editorial and evaluation decisions in both Korean and English. You should be comfortable documenting the reasoning behind your judgments and maintaining consistency across structured guidelines.
Prior experience in AI data training, annotation, or evaluation is preferred, but the core requirements center on professional translation and localization expertise.
This opportunity may suit a senior translator, localization specialist, linguistic QA professional, or language editor who wants to contribute directly to the development of AI systems. Strong candidates bring careful judgment, terminology discipline, cultural awareness, and the ability to explain quality decisions clearly.
Apply through OpenTrain to be considered for this Korean-English AI training project. OpenTrain helps contributors find opportunities where their language and professional expertise can support the development of cutting-edge AI.
