The Role
OpenTrain AI is seeking a Korean AI Training and Evaluation Expert to review AI-generated responses, create language content, and assess correctness, fluency, reasoning quality, and contextual relevance. You will apply senior Korean localization judgment across terminology, style, tone, cultural nuance, and South Korea locale conventions.
This is an expert-level contractor role with part-time employment classification, an hourly rate of $40 USD, and a time requirement of 20+ hours per week. The opportunity is listed for candidates in South Korea.

What You’ll Do
You will evaluate model outputs consistently against prompts, guidelines, and Korean localization standards. The work combines linguistic quality assurance, reasoning review, fact-checking, and the creation of high-quality explanations or model solutions when needed.
Review and rank AI responses for correctness, fluency, and contextual relevance.
Evaluate step-by-step reasoning and identify methodological or conceptual errors.
Validate model integrity and compare multiple model responses.
Write clear explanations and model solutions that demonstrate correct methods.
Apply Korean localization, MQM, LQA, and terminology judgment across use cases.
Fact-check localized content, including units, references, names, and dates.
Requirements and Preferred Experience
This role requires strong Korean localization judgment, advanced English comprehension and writing, and a background in translation, localization, or linguistic quality assurance. Consistent evaluation standards, careful documentation, and attention to detail are essential.
Previous AI data training, annotation, or evaluation experience is preferred. Candidates should also be comfortable working as dependable hourly contractors and collaborating across time zones.
Native or near-native Korean proficiency.
Minimum C1 English reading and writing proficiency for prompts and evaluation guidelines.
Strong translation, localization, or linguistic QA background.
Experience with CAT tools, QA workflows, termbases, or translation memory.
MQM or LQA severity, category, and root-cause analysis skills.
Experience reviewing AI-generated content, model outputs, or translation quality.
Ability to fact-check dates, names, units, references, and other localized details.
