The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Japanese Bilingual Voice Recording Specialist for a remote audio data project. You will record Japanese sentences and specific vehicle-related background sounds while following detailed linguistic, technical, and recording-quality requirements.

This is a contractor role for Japan- and United States-based professionals. Previous AI experience is not required, but experience with audio labeling workflows and Japanese-English language quality review is required.

What You’ll Do

You will create and review audio data in a quiet office or stationary vehicle. The work requires careful pronunciation, control of background noise, close attention to recording quality, and accurate written feedback.

  • Record Japanese sentences with natural fluency and clear pronunciation
  • Produce sounds such as seatbelt clicks, door openings, and vehicle indicator signals
  • Follow detailed linguistic, technical, and recording-quality guidelines
  • Review and submit high-quality audio recordings
  • Provide required written feedback
  • Communicate with project coordinators about deliverables and project updates
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow applicable data-use and project guidelines

Requirements

This project is designed for Japanese-English bilingual professionals with strong communication skills and a reliable, detail-oriented approach to remote deliverables.
