Labeling Overview
Qualifications / requirements: We’re hiring native Japanese speakers currently located in Japan with excellent written Japanese accuracy and strong listening skills. You must be comfortable following detailed rules consistently and making careful judgment calls when audio is imperfect. This is long-term, ongoing work with a steady workload of ~1 hour per day and a flexible schedule (complete tasks at a time that works for you each day, within the required daily cadence).
What you’ll do: You will listen to short Japanese recordings and produce clean, standardized verbatim transcripts that reflect what was said (not translation, not creative writing). You’ll also complete simple listening-based verification steps—such as flagging unclear/unusable audio and marking segments that can’t be confidently understood—using predefined options. Consistency and accuracy matter more than speed.
