The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Hindi Quality Assurance Lead to oversee quality, consistency, and trainer performance across Hindi AI training projects. You will review AI-generated Hindi content and trainer QA work, assess results against project guidelines, and provide precise written feedback that helps contributors meet expected standards.

This role covers language quality, rubric adherence, contributor support, documentation, and process improvement. You will also help identify recurring issues and support the activation and consistency of contributors who are not working regularly.

What You’ll Do

You will combine advanced Hindi language judgment with structured quality assurance. Your feedback should be clear, actionable, and grounded in project rubrics, style guides, and language guidelines.

• Review Hindi AI training outputs and trainer QA submissions for quality and consistency
• Evaluate work against project rubrics, style guides, and language guidelines
• Assess accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, instruction-following, formatting, and rubric adherence
• Provide clear written feedback and escalate recurring or critical issues
• Update trainers and QAs on workflow changes, expectations, and quality standards
• Answer questions about Hindi grammar, Devanagari, register, translation fidelity, Hinglish, terminology, and cultural context
• Identify mistranslation, literal phrasing, unnatural tone, incorrect gender or verb agreement, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, and inconsistent terminology
• Maintain Hindi documentation, FAQs, examples, trackers, and onboarding materials
• Support onboarding and training discussions for contributors
• Help improve QA processes and contributor consistency

Required Qualifications

You should be a native or near-native Hindi speaker with strong reading and writing ability, paired with strong English communication for guidelines, feedback, documentation, and team coordination. The role requires careful language judgment and the ability to evaluate content consistently against detailed criteria.

• Native or near-native Hindi proficiency
• Strong Hindi grammar, spelling, and Devanagari judgment
• Strong English communication skills
• 3+ years of experience in Hindi writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related language-review workflows
• Strong understanding of Hindi punctuation, tone, register, and India-specific cultural context
• Ability to distinguish natural Hindi from literal or English-influenced phrasing
• Experience reviewing translation fidelity, terminology consistency, and cultural appropriateness
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs
• Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM evaluation, prompt-response evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA
