German-Speaking Localization and AI Response Evaluator

You will help improve AI systems by creating German-language content and evaluating AI-generated responses. Your reviews will cover correctness, reasoning quality, clarity, terminology, tone, cultural nuance, and compliance with the prompt.

The role combines translation judgment with structured AI evaluation. You will also check facts, identify errors or bias, write model solutions, compare responses, and test whether outputs change meaning or certainty.

• Create detailed prompts and German responses across varied subject areas.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses for accuracy, fluency, relevance, and adherence to the prompt.
• Review step-by-step reasoning and identify methodological, logical, or conceptual errors.
• Write clear explanations and model solutions that show the correct method.
• Apply German locale conventions, terminology management, style guidance, and linguistic quality checks.
• Test outputs for inaccuracies, unsupported claims, bias, and changes in meaning or certainty.

What it pays and takes

This is a fully remote, part-time hourly contractor role. The work requires strong German localization judgment, careful documentation, dependable throughput, and responsiveness while working remotely.

• Pay: Up to $50 per hour.
• Time: 20 or more hours per week.
• Work arrangement: Remote contractor role.
• Location: Candidates are based in Germany; the listed eligible countries are Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
• Languages: Fluent German and at least C1 English.
• Education: A bachelor's degree or higher in German translation, linguistics, localization, communications, or a related field.
• Experience: At least five years of professional localization or translation experience.
• Quality knowledge: Practical understanding of MQM and LQA, including severity, category, and root-cause analysis.
• Tools: Proficiency with CAT tools and QA workflows such as translation memory, termbases, and automated checks.
• Judgment: Strong editorial judgment for register, tone, inclusivity, cultural nuance, and consistency.
• Preferred: Previous experience in AI data training, annotation, or evaluation.
