OpenTrain is the #1 platform for people building careers in AI training and data labeling. We connect skilled contributors with ongoing projects, help them build a unified portfolio, and support durable, remote freelance careers teaching AI how to understand and create high-quality content.
Why AI training work matters
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building intelligent systems: people create, correct, and evaluate the examples models learn from. This work is highly flexible, remote, and open to contributors with language fluency, marketing domain knowledge, or strong attention to detail — all of which directly shape how AI systems write and edit marketing content.
The role
OpenTrain AI is hiring a French Marketing Document Specialist on a contractor, part-time basis. You will create, edit, and review marketing collateral in French and provide written and verbal feedback used to train AI systems. This is a remote role; contributors worldwide may apply.
Time commitment: 20+ hours per week. Compensation: paid hourly (USD $10–$55/hr). Employment type: Contractor, Part-time. Data type: Document. Labeling tasks include text generation and evaluation/rating.
What you'll do
Create, review, and refine marketing documents written in French to ensure clarity and correctness.
Develop, edit, and organize presentations and spreadsheets using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Ensure brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency across French and English contexts.
Provide written and verbal feedback on marketing content to support AI training and evaluation.
Apply marketing terminology, document structure knowledge, and best-practice judgment to improve materials.
Use experience with large-brand marketing to advise on style, positioning, and audience fit.
Requirements
To succeed in this role you must meet the core requirements below. We will rely on these skills for day-to-day annotation, review, and feedback tasks.
Native-level French (written and verbal) required.
Minimum 3 years of marketing experience producing or managing marketing documents.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proven experience creating, editing, or evaluating marketing collateral and presentations.
High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Helpful background
The following are not required but will make your application stronger and help on higher-complexity tasks.
Direct experience working with Fortune 500 or large-brand marketing teams.
Familiarity or interest in AI-driven content development and annotation workflows.
Understanding of U.S.-based marketing practices and global brand guidelines.
Who should apply and how it works

You will be paid hourly and complete tasks that combine hands-on editing with subjective evaluation used to train models.
