The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a French Audio Transcript Editor to review, clean up, and correct audio transcripts for AI training. You will listen to French recordings, compare them with existing transcripts, and ensure that every word, timestamp, and formatting detail is accurate.

This role includes task-based assignments completed independently on a flexible, fully remote schedule. You will work with annotation platforms and transcript editing tools to deliver polished output.

What You’ll Do

You will edit and evaluate French audio transcripts according to detailed project standards. The work requires strong concentration, careful listening, and consistent application of formatting and style rules.

Required Skills

You should be a native or near-native French speaker with an excellent ear for spoken French across accents, registers, and speaking speeds, including Belgian French varieties. Strong listening comprehension is important, even when recordings contain challenging audio quality or overlapping speakers.
