The work

You will assess short Dutch audio clips created by AI models and explain how natural and accurate they sound. Your reviews will help improve language systems through careful ratings and clear written feedback.

• Listen to short Dutch speech clips and assess fluency and naturalness.
• Evaluate pronunciation, grammar, regional language use, and overall linguistic authenticity.
• Identify language nuances, errors, and areas for improvement.
• Record clear, constructive feedback using online review and submission tools.
• Work with quality assurance leads to support consistent evaluations.
• Join occasional project update sessions and respond to clarification requests as needed.

What it pays and takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor role for an individual contributor. The role is listed as entry level, while experience in language-focused work can be helpful.

• Pay: $30-$65 per hour.
• Time: 20 or more hours per week.
• Location: Remote, for applicants in an eligible listed country.
• Language: Native-level Dutch is required, including a strong understanding of regional Dutch variations.
• English: Written and spoken English at B2+ level.
• Skills: Careful language analysis, attention to detail, and the ability to distinguish natural speech from awkward or incorrect phrasing.
• You must be able to write concise, clear, and actionable feedback and use online platforms to review, document, and submit assessments.
• Helpful background: Linguistic evaluation, language teaching, translation, editorial work, or another language-focused field.
